Masterbatch for BOPP/CPP Films
With over twenty years of technical expertise in the BOPP field, we have established a professional R&D team dedicated to the high-demand BOPP film market. The company is committed to developing masterbatch products that meet the needs of emerging markets, creating added value for customers through innovative solutions. Our product range includes delustering materials, pearl masterbatch, and various functional masterbatches, including universal and specialized anti-blocking masterbatches, migratory and non-migratory anti-static masterbatches, slip masterbatches, anti-fog masterbatches, matte composite masterbatches, and other comprehensive solutions.
BOPP Matte Masterbatch Solution
We have developed an environmentally friendly matting additive specifically for PP matte film production, which can achieve excellent matting effects through single-side surface layer addition. During film stretching, the product forms a micro-rough surface that creates a matte appearance through light scattering. The matting layer can fully utilize the matting masterbatch without requiring additional additives. It is suitable for blown film, cast film, and BOPP processes, performing exceptionally well in food packaging, pet food packaging, labels, and other applications—particularly in achieving high-quality matte effects in thin films of 6-8 microns.
Non-Migratory Slip Masterbatch Technology
Our RPS-T20026TM non-migratory slip masterbatch employs a new generation of silicone technology. Its unique long-chain active functional groups anchor to the substrate resin, effectively reducing the coefficient of friction on the film surface while avoiding powdering issues caused by complete migration. We also provide complementary solutions such as organic slip agents and inorganic anti-blocking agents to meet various application requirements.
High-Performance Anti-Blocking Masterbatch
Our RPS-T20030TM anti-blocking masterbatch effectively addresses layer-to-layer adhesion issues in polyolefin films caused by film composition and winding tension. Utilizing a multi-material composite technology based on refractive index matching, it offers an anti-blocking agent that closely matches the refractive characteristics of the customer’s polymer. This product is suitable for double-bubble and triple-bubble processes, as well as ultra-thin BOPP films with a thickness of less than 1 micron.
Balancing Professionalism and Practicality
- Process Adaptability: Masterbatches must be compatible with high-speed BOPP production lines, remaining stable under high temperatures and shear forces, without decomposing or excessive volatilization, to ensure film quality and production efficiency.
- Dispersibility: Inorganic anti-blocking masterbatches must be evenly dispersed in the substrate resin to avoid defects such as gel particles, streaks, or white spots in the film.
- Effective Content and Synergistic Effects: When multiple masterbatches are used together, their interactions—whether synergistic or inhibitory—must be considered. For example, pearl masterbatch containing inorganic calcium carbonate may adsorb migratory additives, affecting functionality.
- Substrate Resin Compatibility: The carrier resin of the masterbatch must be compatible with the BOPP substrate resin to ensure uniform dispersion of additives. For instance, silicone masterbatch uses a specialized terpolymer polypropylene resin for heat-sealing layers to achieve optimal dispersion.
- Quality Indicators: Key parameters such as particle size distribution (particularly for inorganic fillers), melting point, and volatile content are strictly controlled and tailored to specific film production processes and performance requirements.
