White Masterbatch

Titanium dioxide (TiO2) produces opacity by reflecting light, thanks to its ability to scatter light. When light passes through or near titanium dioxide particles, refraction and diffraction occur. If there are enough particles, all the light hitting the surface is reflected outward, giving the object an opaque white appearance. Given recent market trends, Runpacet has developed a series of cost-effective white masterbatch product combinations. We first use a broader selection of carrier resins, different grades of titanium dioxide (TiO2), and add fillers and capacity enhancers. By gaining a deep understanding of the customer’s product performance requirements — such as extrusion process needs, FDA regulation compliance, coverage, and dispersibility requirements — we can help determine the most suitable white masterbatch solution. RUNPACET white masterbatches are used in almost all polymers, plastic processing, and applications. We have extensive experience producing masterbatches for single-layer and co-extruded films, as well as processes such as blow molding, injection molding, extrusion, and thermoforming.

High-temperature resistant white masterbatch

PA6/PA66 and PC material products typically have high melt temperatures during injection molding (above 260°C), requiring white masterbatches with high heat resistance, reduction stability, and other properties. Our white masterbatch ensures no discoloration or darkening occurs during processing, is not easily decomposed, is suitable for glass fiber reinforced materials (without floating fibers), and can withstand boiling at 90-100°C. It is suitable for high-temperature injection molded medical equipment housings, test instrument housings, surgical handles, iron housings, and engineering plastic modification. For special requirements, it can also be combined with laser marking.

Aging-resistant white masterbatch

Safety helmets are primarily used outdoors and are exposed to ultraviolet rays, wind, rain, and high temperatures for long periods. Our white masterbatch uses weather-resistant titanium dioxide and a combination of high-efficiency UV additives to ensure the durability of the helmet’s markings and its service life. At the same time, various colors can be customized according to the requirements of different materials such as PA, PC, and ABS.

Conventional Polyolefin White Masterbatch

We have nearly 40 types of white masterbatches for polyolefins, made with different grades of titanium dioxide and varying titanium dioxide concentrations (10-80%), including distinctions such as blue-white, pure white, and milky white. Customization is also available upon request.
